Sale pending!
I hope I can say the same thing for our house in a few years but for now...
My Denon 2910 is now sale pending! Very cool. I hope I am not jinxing myself here with this post. I'll cast final judgement when the transaction is completed but so far Audiogon has worked out pretty well for me. It does cost a $6 flat fee to place your classified ad but there no % fee afterwards. I see several benefits by going with Audiogon. The people who shop there pretty much know what they are looking for and don't screw around or bother you with n00b questions. Now, I'm sure there are few (or a lot of) bad apples with any auction / classifieds site but it seems most AV enthusiasts who are in the market for quality, "pre-owned" AV gear go to Audiogon. I feel more piece of mind posting at Audiogon vs posting on e-bay or craigslist. But again, I'll cast final judgement when the transaction is completed!
I will also pat myself on the back by saying I take care of my customers! I reply to inquiries within 30 min, provide idiot-proof instructions, and this evening I even double boxed the Denon. Heck, when I first got the Denon, it just shipped in it's bare original box. I remember being scared that the Fed Ex guy might had tossed it around and my unit was gonna be DOA. Thankfully it wasn't and now my Denon is going to find a new home. I am going to miss it. Fine piece of gear.
