Upcoming movies

There's been a dry spell of interesting movies in the theater. I missed Harry Potter but I've fallen asleep on the first three so I decided to pass on the latest. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see the upcoming Chronicles of Narnia as well as Memoirs of a Geisha. But the film I'm most anxious to see is Syriana. I've always enjoyed watching geopolitical thrillers for the intrigue, where the distinctions of right and wrong are blurred and in this case seems to be asking, "What's really the motivation?" The Syriana URL has an interesting roundtable discussion on the film. Chronicles and Syriana open wide Dec 9th.
